This sale is for one New Old Stock (this chuck has been sitting in warehouse storage for 40 years or more) Atlas Press Co Model # 6466 6″ 4-Jaw Independent lathe chuck with integral 1-1/2″-8 threaded back. This chuck was made for Atlas by Pratt Burnerd in England. Pratt Burnerd and Atlas Later became one company call Pratt Burnerd Atlas Workholding. This chuck was made for the Atlas 10 and 12 lathes and is also perfect for South Bend Lathes with the same thread. The chuck comes new in the original box wrapped in the classic Pratt Burnerd Checkered Wax paper and is covered in a heavy protective oil. This will need to be cleaned with some solvent and a soft cloth. I have cleaned one quadrant of the chuck to show the chuck. Also included with the chuck is the key also wrapped and ready for use.
